The pages here are produced by the Lombok Liveaboard editorial desk. There is no single author to introduce, so this page explains the method instead.

How a page gets written

The routine is the same for every page: find the primary source, read it, then write. Where the only available source is another travel site, the page says so instead of borrowing its confidence.

What this desk does not claim

The desk does not hold a licence, a professional registration or an academic qualification, and no page here should be read as if it did. Where a question needs a lawyer, a doctor or a licensed agent, the page says so. You will not find degrees, years of service or licence numbers on this page. Those are verifiable facts or they are decoration, and we are not willing to publish them as decoration.

Sources and corrections

Figures and rules published here are taken from the operator or the responsible authority. When we have not been able to confirm something, the page says it is unconfirmed instead of rounding it into a fact.
